Job Title: Lead Architect

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect with over 10 years of expertise in commercial and K-12 projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Registered Architect (RA) license in South Carolina or possess NCARB certification with the ability to become licensed. This role involves leading architectural projects from conception through completion, ensuring design excellence and adherence to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of architectural projects, including planning, design, and construction administration.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to develop project objectives and design solutions.
• Oversee project teams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior architects and designers.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience, with a focus on commercial and K-12 projects.
• Registered Architect (RA) in South Carolina or NCARB certification with eligibility for licensure in GA or SC.
• Proficiency in Revit; experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
